Add up every subject on the marksheet for both fields — five subjects out of 100 each means a maximum of 500.
How to calculate a marks percentage
Divide the marks you obtained by the maximum marks and multiply by 100. That is the whole rule, and unlike CGPA conversion there are no competing versions of it — a percentage of marks means the same thing everywhere.
percentage = marks obtained ÷ maximum marks × 100
The part that goes wrong is the second number. Use the total of every subject on the marksheet, not the total of the subjects you are quoting — dropping a subject from the denominator inflates the result and will not survive a check.

This is not CGPA conversion
If your marksheet gives grade points rather than marks, none of the above applies: there is no maximum to divide by, and the conversion depends on which rule your university published. That is a genuinely different calculation and it lives on the CGPA to percentage page.
