MAKAUT CGPA to percentage

The line fits every published point exactly, so applying (DGPA − 0.75) × 10 to a value between the rows is a defensible reading of this table — but it is our reading, not the university's wording.
The table says DGPA, not CGPA. Most sites republishing this rule silently relabel it. Check which figure your own transcript gives before you apply it — they are not guaranteed to be the same number.

A CGPA of 10 gives 95%, not 100%. That is not a rounding error. The 9.5 multiplier was derived from the average marks of past top scorers, which sat at about 95% — so the top grade point maps to 95%. The rule has no way to produce 100%.
This is the arithmetic of the rule you selected. Whether a particular admissions office accepts it is their decision, not ours — quote the rule your university published, with its date.
